M.Arch (Chile)
Denisse completed her Masters of Architecture in Chile before working for CIDM, an architectural practice focused on the innovation and development of timber construction, as well as the internationally acclaimed Nicolas del Rio Architects & Associates (DRAA), where she worked on designing sustainable tourism projects in the Chilean Patagonia. Denisse moved to Sydney in 2013 where she worked for Nick Bell Architects (2013-2022) where she was project lead in designing high end residential projects.
Denisse joined the Licht Architecture team in 2022 after moving to Tassie at the beginning of the year. She is excited to be designing projects that have a broader reach and can impact lots of people as well as create a positive outcome for the environment.
Denisse is passionate and curious about the roll that architecture can play in our wellbeing and how the spaces we inhabit can impact our feelings and emotions. She thrives in creating ‘moments’ within the building that can spark joy and wonder. For as long as she can remember, she has been inspired to create beauty through the combination of materials and colours. Designing brings her immense joy and she spends her spare time getting her hands in clay and crafting beautiful sculptural pieces.
